Can you give some detailed help on boat launching procedures?

I have been setting my kite up on shore/field (leading edge down into the wind, winding out the lines down wind of the kite, untangling and attaching to the kite) and then attaching the turbo launcher to the bar.  I vary the amount I asymmetrically wind the lines depending on the size of the kite.  Small kite, fewer,  big kite more.   I may do as many as 15-20 winds on my 14m and as few as 4-6 on my 6m.  In general more winds=less pull BUT an increased chance of line tangle.

I set the bar (lines are still attached to the kite) on the kite, face up with the leading edge deflated.  It should be off center to the side where the pre-winding started).  With the kite flat, I like the lines to just reach the ends, i.e. I don't wind all the lines onto the launcher, I leave enough out so with the lines attached the kite will lie flat.  I then roll each end toward the bar and put my harness around...easy to carry and store in the boat.

Once out in the water I stand on the swim grid (competition ski boat) with the bow into the wind.  This blocks the wind hitting the kite.  If there is no swim grid (outboard or inboard/outboard) then the boat is best positioned perpendicular to the wind and the kite leading edge of the kite pumped by holding the kite in the water over the down wind side of the boat or back of the boat if its a ski boat.  In both cases, the boat partially blocks the wind making inflating the LE easier.

Once the LE is pumped up. I make sure the lines look good and my gear is ready (board handy, helmet on, gloves, harness, etc.).  I let the kite go and the Turbolauncher does it's job.  Depending on how I am feeling, once the lines are out, I either roll the kite over using the boat (have the driver hit reverse, same effect as swimming toward the kite) when I am lazy or simply dive off the swim grid toward the kite, again an easy way to flip it.  Once the kite is up, the boat picks up the Turbolauncher and drops off my board to me.

When I launch from a Seadoo, after pumping the kite and attaching the bar, and winding the lines.  I leave the LE pumped and ride backwards behind the driver on the Seadoo, holding the kite upsidedown (like you walk with a kite).  I then set the kite in the water, and let the turbo launcher do its thing as above.  I don't have reverse in my Seadoo, so I jump off to help flip the kite and after I launch it, the driver brings me my board.
